We thank God for the first quarter that ends today. We thank God for His faithfulness. So many things have happened and so many things will still happen but we know that all things will work together for our good. Whatever you may have gone through in this quarter, the best is yet to come. A closed curtain does not mean the production is over. The curtain has to close to set up stage for the next scene. The stage is set for the second quarter. It will be glorious if we will hold on to God. Things will only get better when God is at helm of affairs. In this new month that begins the second quarter, your sun will rise. It is your season of sunshine. Arise, Shine for your light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Hebrews 4:11 KJV [11] Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. God’s plan for David was to be king. He sent prophet Samuel to go to Jesse’s house and anoint one of his sons. As the oil came upon David, things that didn’t happen before, began to spring up. First it was Goliath that showed up. Then Saul made him an enemy and sought his life. What has showed up on your journey to purpose? You are on the right track. Don’t give up. God can use anything to shape and prepare you in order to fulfill purpose. He can use your business/career, marriage, health, finance e.t.c. Has God ever showed up for you before? If yes, He will show up again in a greater way if you trust Him. David remembered the testimony of victory he got over the lion and bear through the help of God, and used it to overcome Goliath. He believed in God so he enquired before taking decisions. He was conscious of God’s presence. He never doubted. Unless you believe

  2 Timothy 1:7 KJV [7] For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Fear can be defined as unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain or a threat. Everyone is a victim of what he fears. Fear can be triggered by a negative imagination of the future before it happens. Fear is a spirit. It controls if not checked. It has a strong effect on the mind and body. It can affect ability to eat, sleep, concentrate and enjoy life. No one deals with fear with kids glove. You exert authority over it. Fear robs us of so many things. Fear is not weakness, it reminds us that we are human with limitations. God told Gideon in Judges chapter 7 that he should tell those thirty two thousand men he gathered, that those that are fearful and afraid should go back. Twenty two thousand went back. God knows we will have fears, that’s why He made provision for three hundred and sixty fear not in the Bible. O

1 Peter 5:10 KJV [10] But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. Suffering is not what people want to identify with but it always shows up without prior notice. Suffering is the state of undergoing pain, distress or hardship. It can be delay in getting what you feel you are due for. It can be lack, sickness or anything you can think of. In the case of the children of Israel in Egypt, it was oppression. Suffering and difficulty can have very different effects on people. It can strengthen faith, or weaken faith depending on its impact. Jesus warned Simon Peter that the enemy desired to have him that he may sift. Once he gets a believer, he sifts such a person. Issues we can’t handle will always show up. Jesus told Peter, not to let the enemy have him. Don’t let any issue get your heart. That’s why we need to guard our heart with all diligence. He    said he h
