Isaiah 43:2 KJV [2] When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Everyone will go through tough times in life but it doesn’t mean it’s the devil that is at work. God is set to shed you of wrong thinking, those times that God was at work and you were busy giving the devil credit, acknowledging that he was at work in your life. You may not be under attack, thinking you are. It’s not a threat it’s a threshing.  Threshing is the process of separating grain from corn or other crops. That indicates that separation is needed when you are not where you are supposed to be. So there has to be a sorting. While threat is an intention to inflict pain, injury, damage or hostile action on someone. God has a plan in your disappointment and that is why He allows you to go through threshing. John 7:38 KJV [38] He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. Rivers of living water represents the Holy Spirit's presence and power poured out on us. However looking at the mention of water in the above scripture with reference to man and the make up of man, it’s important to see the ability and power that water possesses, which everyone of us should also possess.  Human beings are made up of about seventy percent water so I want us to look at water in the face of challenges or obstructions and how we should handle what cones our way. Welcome to the last quarter of year 2021. This year has been full of so many activities that can be a source of concern and discouragement but cheer up. No matter what happens around you, it is what you give your attention to that is magnified and also determines your state of wellbeing. That is why you are to guard your heart with all diligence. Your output is a function of our input. Be mindful of what you choose to process. The mind is a battle ground where victory or defeat is determined. Positive thoughts gives birth to victory while negative thoughts produce defeat. It is important that you lay aside every weight. Hand your issues to the Lord. If you can’t do anything about it, why worry about it? Worry is a trick of the devil to keep you busy and less productive. Have a positive attitude
