LIVING EPISTLES

Acts  4:13  KJV [13] Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. The people saw some similarities in the disciples and Jesus. They could trace them to Jesus by what they saw in them.  People want to read us as living epistles before they read the Bible. They want to see Christ in us. How much do we care and love? As ambassadors of Christ are we Christlike? Do we have the mind of Christ? When we are faced with situations do we ask ourselves, what would Jesus have done? As the light of the world, we are to illuminate our world by making the difference. We should not be known as Christians by our names or titles but by our acts. As the salt of the earth, we are to give taste where ever we find ourselves. We are not called to live double standards. Our words as Christians should our bond. What we say must not be different from what we do. We're

THE PRICE OF DECISION

Psalm 32:8 KJV [8] I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Everyday we are faced with numerous choices. We are at liberty to choose what we desire. Decision is something that we all make intentionally and sometimes without a thought as regards major issues as well as minor issues. The dictionary defines decision as a conclusion or resolution reached after consideration. Nearly everything we do in life requires us to decide but do we give due consideration before making our choices? We make uncountable decisions in a day. It is imperative to know that we bear the consequences of our decisions and it can also affect others. Our decisions reflect our values. The prodigal son took a decision to explore. It wasn’t favorable for him. He bore the consequence and made a choice to return home. We are where we are today because of the decisions we made in time past. And the decision we make today will impact on our future. We can’t aff

CHANGING THE NORM 3

Genesis 18:11 KJV [11] Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. One of the forces that aids in changing the norm is the supernatural. The supernatural overrides the natural and breaks protocol. It is almost impossible in science for a woman to be pregnant when she has entered menopause. The Bible records in the above scripture that it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women because she had reached menopause. Yet by the power of the supernatural, God made it happen for her. God will turn again your captivity and make things happen for you in Jesus name. A woman of 90 years was told she was going to experience the joy of motherhood. She laughed because in the natural sense it looked impossible. No one had heard or seen such a thing. The husband was an hundred years of age. With men it may be impossible but not with God, for with God all things are possible. It is not by power nor might but by the Spirit o
