DECLARATIONS

Image
Proverbs 18:21 KJV [21] Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Declarations are pronouncements and proclamations. Through declaration of God’s word, we cooperate with God, transform our minds, activate our faith and focus on solutions rather than challenges. It’s time to stop talking casually over our lives. Words such as I’m dumb, I can’t make it and so on, are words that are not true even when they look like it. Biblical declarations are a means of replacing falsehood with truth, the truth of God’s word. That is why we need to make declarations because it helps us to train our minds on the truth about us and God’s mind concerning us. Declarations are powerful ways to pray and agree with Gods word. It is simply affirming what is already true. When we make pronouncements over our lives, we’re saying we believe God’s word over realities. We know that death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat

EFFICACY OF WORDS

Image
Isaiah 55:11 KJV [11] So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. The devil does not determine your fate, your word does. When you believe and speak words that align with what God has already spoken or declared, you release a force to which everything adjust to. Same things happen when we speak negative words. Words have spiritual power, so they are not to be taken lightly. Until you admit that the words that you speak are spirit and life, you may not understand how powerful your words are. God created the heaven and the earth by His Words and that creative ability was deposited in us when He created us in His image and after His likeness and breathe upon us. At creation, God was faced with formlessness, void and darkness. God did not say what He saw, He spoke what He wanted and that was what came to pass. As gods, we are not to speak what we see

QUIETNESS IS GOLDEN

Image
Isaiah 30:15 KJV [15] For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not. I had been pondering over this topic for a while but last night during the prayer on PR180+, I got a witness in my spirit to do this write up. Quietness is the fact or state of abstaining from speech. Quietness is tranquility, stillness, serenity, silence, calmness, soundlessness. There is strength in quietness but a lot of people don’t know. We give out our power in talking too much. Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent. There’s a time to speak and a time to keep silent. If we have to speak, the Bible enjoins us to be quick to hear but slow to speak. A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back. We need to possess a holding

A MERRY HEART

Image
Proverbs 17:22 KJV [22] A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. We are all designed to function effectively in a good state of mind. However we can’t always have control over things that happen in our lives or the people that come our way. Some things happen to enhance us. Same with the people that we come across, some depletes us, leaving us worse than they met us. Anything that causes heartache crushes the spirit. A broken spirit is a declining physical health that equals emotional illness. Our state of mind finds expression in our health. There is a connection between our emotional health and our physical health. That is why the Bible says a merry heart makes a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart, the spirit is broken. Broken spirit dries up the bone. God told Ezekiel to prophesy to dry bones, so God does not want you to have dry bones while you are alive. Stay away from toxic environment. Diffuse tension and focus on reasons to
