Too many things compete for our attention. We have to put things in the right perspective to enable us know our order of priority. They all look important but looking closely, some are more important than others. Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:23 KJV [23] All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. Martha chose to be occupied with serving when Jesus was around and Mary chose to listen to Jesus. They will not always have Jesus with them and the cooking or serving can be done later.
