CHANGING THE NORM 3

Genesis 18:11 KJV

[11] Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.


One of the forces that aids in changing the norm is the supernatural. The supernatural overrides the natural and breaks protocol. It is almost impossible in science for a woman to be pregnant when she has entered menopause. The Bible records in the above scripture that it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women because she had reached menopause. Yet by the power of the supernatural, God made it happen for her. God will turn again your captivity and make things happen for you in Jesus name. A woman of 90 years was told she was going to experience the joy of motherhood. She laughed because in the natural sense it looked impossible. No one had heard or seen such a thing. The husband was an hundred years of age. With men it may be impossible but not with God, for with God all things are possible. It is not by power nor might but by the Spirit of God. They had to take their eyes off things that they could see (their challenges) and focused on the supernatural that can not be seen. It is only God that can do new things that eyes have not seen. Your change begins when your eyes are on the author and finisher of your faith. Your help comes from above not from abroad. If God doesn’t endorse a thing, nobody home or abroad can do it. Anything can change by the help of the Supernatural. It’s not over until God says so, so don’t give up or close the chapter of that desire. Get ready for a transformation and a revolution as you dig deep into the Spirit. 

Genesis 21:1-2 KJV

[1] And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. [2] For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

You are next in line for a miracle. Every word that God has given you shall come to pass.

I woke on the 4th of June which was my birthday with a heart of thanksgiving. I honestly have so many reasons to thank God looking at the goodness of God in my life.   Challenges and dificulties are unavoidable. They come whether you are walking in God’s will or not. Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth had to contend with barrenness. We all have to contend with one challenge or the other at every point in life.  When you are faced with difficult situations, do you give up or walk through? A very good example of a person that persevered is Abraham Lincoln. He failed some many times but he pushed past his failures and eventually became the 16th president of the United States. His name is known till date because he didn’t give up. Life is full of experiences that will make you swim or sink.    Don’t wait to learn to swim when the boat is at verge of capsizing. COUNT IT ALL JOY

  James 1:2-3 KJV - My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Contrary to the normal human mindset, we are instructed to count our trials and temptations as joy. This is kingdom mindset, not the world’s. God’s plan is to use our trials to make us grow and to strengthen us.    This looks impossible to the natural man. That is why the scriptures the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
