WATER ALWAYS FINDS ITS LEVEL

John 7:38 KJV

[38] He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Rivers of living water represents the Holy Spirit's presence and power poured out on us. However looking at the mention of water in the above scripture with reference to man and the make up of man, it’s important to see the ability and power that water possesses, which everyone of us should also possess.

Human beings are made up of about seventy percent water so I want us to look at water in the face of challenges or obstructions and how we should handle what cones our way. I attended a course recently where we looked at water as a metaphor for creative resilience instead of the usual bounce back like rubber band, so I decided to outline the qualities that water possesses;

Water always finds its way not necessarily the same way. Do things differently.

Water declares its own possibles ( where it is going). You can do all things through Christ that strengthens you.

Water is not deterred by anything, rock, dam e.t.c. You are unstoppable.

Water adapts without ever losing sight of its mission. Find a way around whatever you are faced with, without losing focus of you destination.

Water makes a difference anywhere it finds itself. You are a person of influence, that’s why the Bible refers to you as Light and Salt.

Water impacts the environment not vice versa. You are made to make impact.

Water takes full responsibility.  Don’t look for who to blame. Take responsibility and move on.

Water chooses its direction. Channel your path to greatness.

Water doesn’t struggle with what is on the way. It embraces what’s on the way and looks for a way forward. Don’t dwell on problems but on solution.

Water doesn’t settle for what it can get. Life doesn’t give you what you deserve but what you demand.

Water is authentic, transparent and it’s usefulness can’t be underestimated. Be real and truthful to yourself. You are important in God’s agenda.

You have what it takes to work out these qualities in you. You can if you try. God bless you.

Shalom
