FULL RECOVERY

1 Samuel 30:19 KJV

19] And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.


Welcome to the last quarter of year 2021. This year has been full of so many activities that can be a source of concern and discouragement but cheer up. No matter what happens around you, it is what you give your attention to that is magnified and also determines your state of wellbeing. That is why you are to guard your heart with all diligence. Your output is a function of our input. Be mindful of what you choose to process. The mind is a battle ground where victory or defeat is determined. Positive thoughts gives birth to victory while negative thoughts produce defeat. It is important that you lay aside every weight. Hand your issues to the Lord. If you can’t do anything about it, why worry about it? Worry is a trick of the devil to keep you busy and less productive. Have a positive attitude towards every issue you are faced with. David in the above scripture was faced with a devastating situation. The enemy had invaded their territory and taken everything. David and his men got back and wept until they had no more power to weep. The men chose to blame David but he chose to seek God. Can you relate with this scenario, weeping and apportioning blame instead of looking for a solution? There is always a way out if God is involved. David recovered all. You too will recover all. In that hopeless and helpless situation, help will show up. Whatever you have lost, believe that you will recover all, confess it and take action. Nothing will steal your joy. There will be full recovery and total restoration in Jesus name.

I woke on the 4th of June which was my birthday with a heart of thanksgiving. I honestly have so many reasons to thank God looking at the goodness of God in my life. It was a Sunday and the church celebrated me, coupled with the fact that the day before was our 28th wedding anniversary.   Challenges and dificulties are unavoidable. They come whether you are walking in God’s will or not. Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth had to contend with barrenness. We all have to contend with one challenge or the other at every point in life.  When you are faced with difficult situations, do you give up or walk through? A very good example of a person that persevered is Abraham Lincoln. He failed some many times but he pushed past his failures and eventually became the 16th president of the United States. COUNT IT ALL JOY

  James 1:2-3 KJV - My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Contrary to the normal human mindset, we are instructed to count our trials and temptations as joy. This is kingdom mindset, not the world’s.
