THREAT OR THRESHING

Isaiah 43:2 KJV

[2] When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Everyone will go through tough times in life but it doesn’t mean it’s the devil that is at work. God is set to shed you of wrong thinking, those times that God was at work and you were busy giving the devil credit, acknowledging that he was at work in your life. You may not be under attack, thinking you are. It’s not a threat it’s a threshing.

Threshing is the process of separating grain from corn or other crops. That indicates that separation is needed when you are not where you are supposed to be. So there has to be a sorting. While threat is an intention to inflict pain, injury, damage or hostile action on someone. God has a plan in your disappointment and that is why He allows you to go through threshing. You come out better than you were initially. The devil causes pain, injury and damage because his assignment is to steal, kill and destroy. He makes things worse. Refuse to acknowledge him in your life. God is always with you to deliver you from whatever you are going through. He didn’t promise you that you won’t be afflicted, He promised to deliver you from them all. David was conscious of God’s plan, that they are thought of peace and not of evil to give him an expected end. He never gave credit to the devil instead he said even though he walked through the valley of the shadow of death, he feared no evil for God was with him. Who is at work in your life determines the outcome you see. If it is good, it is God. I declare to you that whatever you are going through will end in praise in Jesus name.

Shalom
