PUSH UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS Lk18:1-8 The story is told of a widow that wanted justice from an unjust judge. Hear what the unjust judge said: Luke 18:4-5 KJV [4] And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; [5] Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. Life is a constant battle: don’t let your battle wear you out, instead wear it out. Like the widow, we need to push until something happens. We must persist until we get what we want. Persistence is a firm or obstinate continuation in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition. Persistence is tenacity, determination, resolve, resolution, purposefulness and staying power. The story of Diana Nyad emphasizes the power of persistence.
