NO LONGER BUSINESS AS USUAL

 NO LONGER BUSINESS AS USUAL

Proverbs 29:2 KJV

[2] When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

The story is told about the Israelites in Egypt when Joseph was alive and they enjoyed the place but in the book of Exodus we saw what happened when another king came into power. The story changed.  They set taskmasters over them to afflict them until it became unbearable.  Everything has to do with leadership as we see in the above scripture. Oppression is to burden with cruel or unjust impositions or restraints; subject to a burdensome or harsh exercise of authority or power. It refers to discrimination when the injustice does not target and may not directly afflict everyone in society but instead targets specific groups of people. Oppression can take place anywhere. It can happen in the market place, office, home or church. Nobody functions properly under any form of oppression whether subtle or outright. This was what happened in the time of slavery. No one can fulfill purpose in an oppressive environment. It usually gives birth to agitations. God in His majesty does not want His children in any form of bondage, that was why He sent His only begotten Son Jesus to deliver us. He raised Moses to deliver the children of Israel from Egypt. There’s so much agitations in recent times from Black life matters to end police brutality, harassment, undue exploitations and extortion. Different happenings in different countries. These things are happening when there’s so much prayer going on. It could be a stirring of the pool. Let him that has ears, hear. I see the Lord doing new things in people’s lives and in the nations. It’s no longer business as usual. These agitations in the month of possession speaks volume. After the noise and the shaking, the bones will come together bone to it’s bone. Revival is about to break forth in the land. Whatever has held you bound will let you go. Now is the time to fulfill purpose. When we do what is humanly possible, God will do what is humanly impossible. So I say to you ARISE.  Shalom.
