WHOSE HAND IS IT IN?

1 Peter 5:7 KJV

[7] Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.


I listened to something that blessed me on the importance of where we place things and I thought to share it. If you take a basket ball and put it in my hands, it’s worth a little but if you put it in the hands of a professional like LeBron James it’s worth millions. If you take a gulf club and put it in my hands, it’s worth will just be the selling price but if you put it in the hands of Tiger Woods, it is worth several million dollars. It depends on whose hands it is in. A rod in my hands may just be something to play around with but in the hands of Moses, it parted the Red Sea. A sling shot in my hand becomes something to toy with but in the hands of David, it slayed Goliath.  Five loaves and two fish will probably just be a meal for few. Putting it in the hands of Jesus, it fed thousands and still had twelve baskets left over. Nails fastened to my hands on a wood will lead to loss of blood, if not death but nails fastened in the hands of Jesus led to salvation and eternal life. I hope you now know that the outcome of things depend on whose hands it is in. Your worries, your cares, those things that get you stressed out, your problems in your hands will likely not get a solution and weigh you down further but in the hands of Jesus, He will see you through and take care of everything. There’s so much going on in the world right now in the nations. Theories, projections and calculations are failing daily. Those we are looking up to for help also need help. Our help is in the Lord. Trust in the Lord. He will do what no man can do. Cast all your heavy burdens upon Him and He will give you rest. Note the word all, not some. He’s willing to help out with everything if only you will believe Him and release those pressures to Him. As you do so, you will see His glory in Jesus name. You may not be bold to give Him your troubles if you don’t have a relationship with Him.  Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior today.

I woke on the 4th of June which was my birthday with a heart of thanksgiving. I honestly have so many reasons to thank God looking at the goodness of God in my life.   Challenges and dificulties are unavoidable. They come whether you are walking in God’s will or not. Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth had to contend with barrenness. We all have to contend with one challenge or the other at every point in life.  When you are faced with difficult situations, do you give up or walk through? A very good example of a person that persevered is Abraham Lincoln. He failed some many times but he pushed past his failures and eventually became the 16th president of the United States. COUNT IT ALL JOY

  James 1:2-3 KJV - My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Contrary to the normal human mindset, we are instructed to count our trials and temptations as joy. This is kingdom mindset, not the world’s. God’s plan is to use our trials to make us grow and to strengthen us.    This looks impossible to the natural man.
