BE GRATEFUL AND BE A BLESSING

2 Corinthians 9:10-11 KJV

[10] Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) [11] Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

Everyday is a gift but do we see it as such? If so how do we respond to what we are grateful for? Sometimes we’re so engrossed in the race of life that we take little things that really matter for granted. It can be the people around you or the things that you have. Life is too tender to be taken for granted. When you are able to stretch your body, turn your head, breathe, bathe yourself, clothe yourself, eat what you like and take decisions, you may not appreciate it as much as you should until you are not able to do one of those things you have been doing. Nothing matters to a sick person than to be healthy. No matter what you are faced with and where you are, someone desires to be there.  Some people that are your age mates are no more. Let us learn to be grateful and make each day count by doing the best we can and being a blessing when we can. Every good thing that has a beginning must also have an end. Yesterday is gone. What we have is today. Nobody can determine tomorrow. Don’t procrastinate. Learn to forgive. Show some love to people whether they deserve it or not. Do what you can do today. Sow good seeds in life. After all that is done, it is only the record of our doings that will speak for us not what we accumulated. Right in your very eyes, some things are no longer useful. What if you had given them to someone who will use them and also pray for you? Look into your wardrobe, store, account, house etc and bring out things that you can use to be a blessing to someone. Some of the things we have should be seeds. Not only do people pray for you, God has a record and every seed has the potential of great harvest. God provides seed to be sown and bread to be eaten. Which means that it is not everything that we have that we’re to consume. Be a channel of blessing and be grateful for everything you have, including relationships and also for everything you can do. That way you are enabled to do more. God multiplies every seed sown therefore He will not forget your labor of love. The Lord will show you kindness and take you from glory to glory as you consciously become more grateful and also be a blessing to others.

Shalom
