RESTORATION

2 Kings 6:5-6 KJV

[5] But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed. [6] And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.


Restoration is the action of returning something to a former owner, place or condition. Replacing or repairing to it’s original state. Everyone has had to lose, misplace or spoilt something at one point or the other and desired a replacement or recovery of such. If it’s something you can replace, you go ahead and replace it immediately but there are some things that you have lost and desire a replacement but you have no control over. Like the sons of prophet in the above scripture. They borrowed an axe and while felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water. The axe had to be returned to the owner. A miracle was needed for the recovery of the axe head and it happened. An iron axe head that was supposed to sink, by supernatural intervention floated. Are you in a desperate situation that you need God show up? He abides faithful and will not deny Himself. You may not be able to do anything about what you want restored in your life but your Father in heaven can and will do something about it. He restored Job such that his latter end was greater than his beginning. The same God will do much more in your life in Jesus name. You will have reason to rejoice.

    Awesome. Restoration. We pray our father to restore the glory of our nation. Let there a sudden and radical change in our economy. That Nigeria will not be ruled by children anymore. In Jesus name we pray.

I woke on the 4th of June which was my birthday with a heart of thanksgiving. I honestly have so many reasons to thank God looking at the goodness of God in my life.   Challenges and dificulties are unavoidable. They come whether you are walking in God’s will or not. Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth had to contend with barrenness. We all have to contend with one challenge or the other at every point in life.  When you are faced with difficult situations, do you give up or walk through? COUNT IT ALL JOY

  James 1:2-3 KJV - My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Contrary to the normal human mindset, we are instructed to count our trials and temptations as joy. This is kingdom mindset, not the world’s.
