INTERPRETING OBSTACLES

 Isaiah 45:2 KJV

[2] I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

Every road to the future is laced with obstacles. Everyone will be faced with crooked places at one point or the other in life. The interpretation you give to the obstacle/crooked place determines your decision and your destination. You can see it as a hinderance or an opportunity/a stepping stone. Interpreting wrongly will make you back out. When you understand the plan of God and the fact that He’s working with you and on you, you will interpret correctly.

Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

[11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

You will see an opportunity for greatness and gladly take up the task by forging ahead. For flour to appear in the palace, it has to go through the oven. The oven experience is not a comfortable one. It is something everyone wants to avoid but that is what produces the aroma.  It is the oven experience that makes the flour presentable on the king’s table in the palace. Joseph had to go through the pit experience and the prison experience to be prime minister in Egypt. Daniel had to go through Lion’s den in his journey. David had to face Goliath. Hannah had to deal with barrenness for a season. You are not exempted either. Whatever you are going through is for a season and it is intended to produce a better you and to get you to the table that has been prepared for you as long as God is behind the journey. That God is behind the journey of your life does not mean you will not have to grapple with obstacles. It only assures you will be victorious. Don’t be intimidated with what you are faced. It is a phase that will surely pass. You are destined for greatness.

Shalom
