GOD GOES WITH YOU

Joshua 1:9 KJV

[9] Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.


Moses told Joshua not to be afraid for the Lord his God is with him anywhere he goes. I am telling you the same today. The Lord says in Matthew 28:20 that He is with you always, even unto the end of the world. He did not say sometimes but always. In good times and bad times, He’ll be on your side. You need to settle this truth in your heart. The Lord told Moses that He has seen the affliction of His people in Egypt and heard their cry. And He is come down to deliver them. He said He will send Moses to Pharaoh that he may bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. In verse 12 of Ex 3, He said, Certainly I will be with you. Certainly means surely, assuredly, definitely, undisputedly, the Lord is with you. You are not alone at any time. He’s the God that sends on errand and goes with you. The Lord says when you pass through the waters, He will be with you. When God is with you, there’s nothing to fear. The devil wants you to be afraid so that he can be in charge. Fear gives him permission to operate. Faith gives God permission to operate. Do away with fear. Isa 41:10 says, Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed; for I am your God. What other assurance do you need? Man can promise and fail but not God. God is not a man that He will lie, neither is He the son of man that He will repent. Whatever He has promised, He is also able to perform. It is easy to believe the word of God when the going is good but when faced with challenges, like the Red Sea, those promises if not rooted in one’s heart, will look unreal. People find it difficult to relate with the truth of His abiding presence in face of trouble. You don’t need to feel it, just accept it. The Lord is with you like a mighty warrior. No matter what you are confronted with, don’t be afraid. Tell yourself like the Psalmist, that though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for God is with me. Whatever venture you embark on, you will succeed. If God be for you, no one/situation can be against you and the outcome will always be to His glory.

    Yes you guys when u believe, my LORD will deliver.. He is not a man that will lie. He might not come when u want, but when u hold on to him he will not put i to shame. After 52 years He disgraced my enemies. Praise n Praise my LORD.7.

I woke on the 4th of June which was my birthday with a heart of thanksgiving. I honestly have so many reasons to thank God looking at the goodness of God in my life. It was a Sunday and the church celebrated me, coupled with the fact that the day before was our 28th wedding anniversary.   Challenges and dificulties are unavoidable. They come whether you are walking in God’s will or not. Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth had to contend with barrenness. We all have to contend with one challenge or the other at every point in life.  When you are faced with difficult situations, do you give up or walk through? A very good example of a person that persevered is Abraham Lincoln. He failed some many times but he pushed past his failures and eventually became the 16th president of the United States. His name is known till date because he didn’t give up. Life is full of experiences that will make you swim or sink.    Don’t wait to learn to swim when the boat is at verge of capsizing. COUNT IT ALL JOY

  James 1:2-3 KJV - My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Contrary to the normal human mindset, we are instructed to count our trials and temptations as joy. This is kingdom mindset, not the world’s. God’s plan is to use our trials to make us grow and to strengthen us.    This looks impossible to the natural man.
