PLANNING FOR WONDERS

Luke 14:28 KJV

[28] For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it ?

Welcome to year 2023, year of Birthing Great Wonders and your month of Opportunities. This year will yield her increase to you depending on your readiness. It can’t birth beyond what you can comprehend. There is going to be a heavy downpour of blessings but the container with which you receive is what becomes yours not the heaviness of the downpour. Plan how much of the wonders you want to experience and the area of life where you want it. Be intentional about what you want this year. Don’t worry about unfinished goals and set backs last year or what you didn’t embark on. This new year is an opportunity to start afresh. 

The dictionary defines planning as a set of actions that have been thought of as a way to do or achieve something. Planning therefore can be said to be a process of thinking through how to achieve a set goal. To achieve this, you have to sit down first based on the above scripture. Planning empowers good management that procures great result. Every aspect of life requires planning. When you fail to plan, you have planned to fail. Plan to stay healthy by eating well. Plan to put money aside bit by bit to have something substantial at the end of the year (little drops of water makes an ocean). Plan to start a business or improve on the one you are doing. Plan to write a book or read a book daily, weekly or monthly. Most importantly, plan to grow in your walk with God. Having these plans is not to impress anybody but to add value to yourself and your world. 

Pray. Praying without planning is playing without knowing. Prayer enables the Holy Spirit to guide you on what to do.

Set your goals.

Break it down into small bits to enable the achievement realistic.

Be determined. It will help you to persist in the face of challenges.

Take action. Those goals cannot achieve themselves. There will never be a better time so take steps now.

Be consistent with your plan.

Evaluate yourself daily, weekly or monthly.

Don’t embark on anything this year without having a thorough plan. The Lord will breathe upon you and cause everything you lay your hands on to prosper in Jesus name. 

As you plan, take advantage of opportunities that come your way. The opportunity you leave to time, will go with time. Opportunity sometimes present itself in work clothes, so be sensitive to recognize it when it shows up and to maximize it. Get ready for Great Wonders.
