CHANGING THE NORM (1)

CHANGING THE NORM (1)

Genesis 26:12 KJV

[12] Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.

At the beginning of the year, people make new year resolutions. Things they want to start doing or improve on, new territories they want to conquer and so on. Quite a number of people don’t follow through on this plan. They forget the book where it is written. Here we are in the first month of the year. Let it register in your heart that anything is achievable. If you can conceive it, you can achieve it. Make this year an improvement on other years. Be ready to do more this year because you will have more this year. Isaac sowed in a time of famine, when people will naturally hold back and he got a pleasant surprise. Be determined to make a difference. Be guided by the Holy Spirit. Be ready to increase your knowledge in various things including being technologically inclined because we are in the Information Age. It’s no longer business as usual. Look for alternative ways to generate income, how to manage time, business and the home. Look inward and use the gift that God has given you. You may choose to write a book, develop an app, start a new business, do an investment, the list is endless. No matter how noble your ideas are, they can’t accomplish themselves without you doing something about them. This is not confess it and receive it. It only produce when you write it, confess it and work at it. They remain wishes until they are backed up with a strong desire that stems out of determination. The woman with the issue of blood was determined to get her miracle so she was able to overcome every obstacle. She had a goal in front of her that she wanted to accomplish and she went all out. She became unstoppable even though she was fragile. How determined are you to make the difference that you want? Until you are different, you can not make a difference. Passion is the drive that you need. Feed your passion and act now on what you believe. Where you are today is as a result of things you left undone years back and the ones you did. What will happen in the next few years? The definition of insanity is doing things the same way and expecting a different result. There are a few questions you should ask yourself.

What area of my life do i need to work on?

What do i want to achieve?

How do i want to go about it?

When do I want to do it?

What information/resource do i require?

What is the yardstick to measure my performance?

Let your pen and journal be your acquaintance. Put it before the Lord and believe in your heart that it is possible. Take the necessary step. I see the line falling for you in pleasant places. Shalom
