CHANGING THE NORM 2

 CHANGING THE NORM 2

The daughters of Zelophehad went to Moses in Numbers 27 to ask for their possession even though it wasn’t the custom in Israel to will anything to daughters since their father had no son. That age long tradition could have stopped them as it had stopped some other women in times past. These ladies knew what was ahead but they were determined to take a chance. Those who don’t take a chance don’t get ahead. Are you ready and willing to take a chance in this new year? Moses took it to God and God said the daughters of Zelophehad spoke right and should surely be given their possession. And because they dared made that move, it became a law in Israel that if a man dies and has no sin, his inheritance should pass to his daughter. It’s your turn to make history. What if they didn’t ask? Is any what if coming to your mind now? Are you inspired by the story of these ladies to go after what life is depriving you of, what you are entitled to or what is not usually the norm?

Life will not give you what you deserve but what you demand. Ask and you will be given. Change has to enforced. Things don’t just happen, people make them happen. It is not easy to enforce change but it is possible. Change is defined as making or becoming a different substance entirely; transform; arrive at a fresh phase, become new.

With this definition, change may mean overhauling the existing system and developing new structures and strategies. Be ready to take new territories and get entirely new result this year. Transformation begins in the mind. Believe it, make the move and accomplish it.Pursue your conviction.  This is your best year . Go for it .

Shalom
