SEASON OF RESTORATION

Psalm 107:35 KJV

[35] He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.


Restoration is reinstatement or repair. It is the action of returning something to a former owner place or condition. God’s restoration is usually more glorious than the former state. Everyone at one point or the other, have something that they have lost or have been dispossessed of and desires such to be returned. This loss may be due to ignorance, forceful dispossession, lack of knowledge or understanding, uninformed decision, anger and so many other reasons. Irrespective of the reason, the good news is, God by His mercy is able and willing to restore if we will turn to Him for help. David returned to Gilgal in 1Samuel 30 and found that their camp had been raided. They wept and David turned to God. And the Lord gave him an assurance that he will recover all and he did. The Lord restored the fortunes of Job and gave him twice as much as he had before. Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers, yet God made everything to work together for his good and he became a prime minister in a foreign land. Your testimony of restoration is next in Jesus name. The devil is in the business of stealing, killing and destroying. He steals people’s joy and puts them in a perpetual state of fear but Jesus is in the business of giving life abundantly. That marriage, health, finance, children, business, career and whatever you desire will be restored in Jesus name. The restoration of your relationship with God is essential. You may appear in His house but have drifted. Get connected back to your Source. That is the beginning of every other restoration. Your restoration will be complete in Jesus name.

I woke on the 4th of June which was my birthday with a heart of thanksgiving. I honestly have so many reasons to thank God looking at the goodness of God in my life.   Challenges and dificulties are unavoidable. They come whether you are walking in God’s will or not. Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth had to contend with barrenness. We all have to contend with one challenge or the other at every point in life.  When you are faced with difficult situations, do you give up or walk through? A very good example of a person that persevered is Abraham Lincoln. He failed some many times but he pushed past his failures and eventually became the 16th president of the United States. His name is known till date because he didn’t give up. Life is full of experiences that will make you swim or sink.    Don’t wait to learn to swim when the boat is at verge of capsizing. COUNT IT ALL JOY

  James 1:2-3 KJV - My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Contrary to the normal human mindset, we are instructed to count our trials and temptations as joy. This is kingdom mindset, not the world’s. God’s plan is to use our trials to make us grow and to strengthen us.    This looks impossible to the natural man.
