WAITING WITHOUT WAVERING

Hebrews 10:23 KJV

[23] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Waiting is not easy especially when it’s a long one. Waiting teaches us patience. Have you ever had someone taken into the theater for a surgery? One hour will look like one week. Or been on a long queue with little stamina. It will look like will it ever get to my turn? Or will I make it? Long wait sometimes make people doubt God or think He has forgotten about them. Trust God. He is working out something for you. We always make grave mistakes when we go ahead of God, it is a recipe for disaster. Wait, the red light will turn to green. Be patient. Be creative in your waiting time. Everything is about timing, God’s timing. Have you considered the time between when David was anointed king and when he actually reigned as king? Or when God promised Abraham that he will be the father of nations and when he actually had his son Isaac? Waiting for 25 years. Daniel prayed and waited. Satan delayed the answer but couldn’t deny it. Waiting is not an easy process but it’s a time to put ones eyes steadfastly on God. Knowing that faithful is He who has promised who also will do it. Whatever it is you are waiting for, God will come through. And when He does, it’s always bigger and better. Don’t lose hope. Don’t faint in your time of waiting. Be still and know that He is God. The countdown for that long wait has begun. Sarah judged Him faithful who had promised. The same God who visited Sarah as He had said and did unto Sarah as He had spoken will visit you and settle you in Jesus name. Get ready for a bigger and greater testimony as we cross to the last quarter of the year.

Shalom
