GIVING LOVE

John 3:16 KJV

[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

You can give without loving but you can’t love without giving. It is more blessed to give than to receive. Whatever we sow has a way of returning to us. It leaves our hands but it doesn’t leave our lives. It goes into the future to multiply and wait for us. Giving is my favorite past time. I get fulfilled being a blessing. My husband called me one day in the office and said he had a leading to sow the BMW 3 series we bought 6 months before then to a man of God and his family. The only thing I could say was, go ahead, the life of a man does not consist in the abundance of what he possesses. God meets our need per time. Money and possessions must not have a hold over us.

No matter what I’m given, I make it a point of duty to ensure someone benefits from it. We have brought nothing into the world and won’t take anything out of it. Our joy is to make others joyful. When you give what you have, God gives you what you don’t have. God loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son and He is still reaping the whole world. Giving generously and sacrificially will always provoke a reward from God. Men may forget but the Rewarder never forgets.

God recognizes our act of giving. He said in Matt 25:40 when you feed the hungry, clothe the naked and visit those in prison, you have done it unto Him. Giving must be a way of life for us. The world system says hold back as much as you can but Kingdom system says give as much as you can. That is why the Bible says there is that scatters and yet increases. When you give it will be given back to you in good measure.

As we approach Christmas, give love, hope, joy, light, help, clothes, food, money and whatever is in your capacity to be a blessing to others, especially those who are in need and also to those you want to appreciate or help. Nothing is too small to give, and nothing is too big to give. As you give, the Lord will meet you at the very point of your need.

2 Corinthians 9:7 KJV

[7] Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give ; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Merry Christmas.

Shalom
