IT’S NOT TOO LATE FOR A MIRACLE

John 11:21-22 KJV

[21] Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. [22] But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.


Welcome to the month of December 2022. So many things happened this year, through it all, the Lord kept you and I. Despite all the difficulties, there are good things that God has done and is still doing. It is what we focus on that is magnified. Your attitude determines your altitude. Begin this month with a heart of gratitude and complete trust in God. If God has done anything in your life this year, He’s able to do much more. There is so much that can still be accomplished before this year runs out. 


Lazarus was sick in John chapter 11. His family sent for Jesus. By the time He got there, Lazarus had been dead four days. The family could have buried him, though they agreed he was already stinking at that time but even in the worse situation, they still had hope that Jesus could do something. And they got what they desired. How bad has that situation gotten? 


Acknowledging your need is different from expecting divine intervention. Doing the impossible is everyday business for God. Whatever situation you are faced with, even now, God that is never late will show up. He is not bound by time. Be expectant. There is hope if you hold on to God with a strong desire and ask, you will get your request. A tree that is cut down, has hope that it can still sprout again. Through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant. That is a tree, how much more of you that is created in the image of God and Jesus was slain for. 


You will be fruitful and productive. Everything you have not been able to do since the beginning of this year, will be accomplished before this year runs to an end by the marvelous help of God. Get ready for a peculiar celebration this month.

I woke on the 4th of June which was my birthday with a heart of thanksgiving. I honestly have so many reasons to thank God looking at the goodness of God in my life. It was a Sunday and the church celebrated me, coupled with the fact that the day before was our 28th wedding anniversary.   Challenges and dificulties are unavoidable. They come whether you are walking in God’s will or not. Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth had to contend with barrenness. We all have to contend with one challenge or the other at every point in life.  When you are faced with difficult situations, do you give up or walk through? A very good example of a person that persevered is Abraham Lincoln. He failed some many times but he pushed past his failures and eventually became the 16th president of the United States. His name is known till date because he didn’t give up. Life is full of experiences that will make you swim or sink.    Don’t wait to learn to swim when the boat is at verge of capsizing. COUNT IT ALL JOY

  James 1:2-3 KJV - My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Contrary to the normal human mindset, we are instructed to count our trials and temptations as joy. This is kingdom mindset, not the world’s. God’s plan is to use our trials to make us grow and to strengthen us.    This looks impossible to the natural man. That is why the scriptures the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
