BECOMING A BETTER YOU (2)

BECOMING A BETTER YOU (2)

There’s nobody that is living that has reached the peak of his abilities. There’s a more glorious future ahead of you. Don’t drown in your past mistakes or achievements. God says behold I do a new thing, the former things you will remember no more. There are things you need to let go, for you to get to the next level. Apostle Paul makes this clear in

Philippians 3:13-14 KJV

[13] Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, [14] I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

It’s good to appreciate where you are but don’t let it limit you or hinder you from forging ahead. It’s a personal decision to press forth. We all need to keep going forward. The children of Israel got to the Red Sea, they thought they were stranded but the Lord told them to go forward. You will not be stranded. You are unstoppable. See every obstacle as ladder to the next phase. You can only see the acts of God when you dare to take giant strides. This may require leaving your comfort zone and doing things you naturally won’t do. This is a time to do more. Be hard on yourself. Set new standards/goals. Have a clear picture of what you want to achieve. Drop attitude and association that can hinder you. Don’t give any excuse for non performance. Be determined. Irrespective of your age, you can still obtain an additional degree, read daily, write a book, start a business e.t.c. Abraham was 75 years old when he embarked on a journey of purpose. Jehoash was seven years old when he reigned as king in Jerusalem. Expand your horizon. Be determined to bring out everything that God has deposited in you to bless your generation. Anything that you can conceive can be achieved. Refuse to be stopped. Avoid comparison. You are unique. The DNA of greatness is in you. Give it expression. Pray to God to enlighten your eyes of understanding. Be like the men of Issachar who had understanding to know what Israel should do. May you know what to do at such a time as this. Seek the Lord and He will reveal great and deep things to you. You are more than this. Research, explore and pray. A wise man was said, your life in the next five years will not change, except for two things. The books you read and the people you meet. Be intentional about these two things, reading more books and meeting more people. Let’s do whatever we want to do according to God’s pattern. This is a season of discovery and fulfillment of purpose. Things will no longer be business as usual. You have a part to play in this generation. The world is waiting for you. Go forth in your might and you will be marvelously helped in Jesus name. Shalom.
