TRIUMPH IN OBSTACLES 

Everyone of us is on a journey here on earth. As we go on, some roads are smooth and some bumpy. The bumpy road and turbulence in the air is a process that people don’t like to go through. We don’t want to be faced with obstacles but we want to share testimonies. The same way you write exams in school and go to the next class, so also we write in life, through difficult circumstances and trying times, and move on to the next phase. (The next phase, though wonderful, has its own challenges too but it’s nothing to worry about). Some will ask, will these challenges ever stop? The answer is no but the end has been determined before you started and it is victory for you. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all. God has a way of delivering you from everything that is greater than you. He delivered Peter from Herod and the Israelites from Pharaoh.  The deliverance is not partial, it is total. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 4:17 KJV

[17] For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Note;

-It is light. Whatever you are faced with, is referred to as light. It is when you are the one carrying it, that it becomes heavy. It is a light thing for God, so cast your burden to Him.

-It is for a moment. It won’t last forever, it has a life span. Every challenge has an expiry date. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. You are waking up to a new dawn

-It is working for you. Every thing works together for good and in your favor. 

-It eventually produces a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. The result outweighs the obstacles. The outcome will be beyond your imagination. It will always end in praise so that the glory is God’s. 

It takes a process for flour to become bread. Bread is more appreciated than the flour and it gets to the King’s table where the flour can’t get to. The  oven process however is a tough one, but there’s no shortcut. Gold is not appreciated in its raw stage but when it passes through fire, men are willing to pay any price to get it. Is it your marriage, business, career, health, finance or long awaited expectation that is a major challenge? Don’t be discouraged. A new chapter is beginning. God is turning that captivity around. The prison experience wasn’t easy for Joseph, the waiting experience wasn’t rosy for Hannah, the lion’s den wasn’t a comfortable place for Daniel but they all had testimonies. Don’t be moved by what you see, it is subject to change 2Cor 4:18. You too will testify as you keep looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of your faith. Victory is yours in Jesus name. I woke on the 4th of June which was my birthday with a heart of thanksgiving. I honestly have so many reasons to thank God looking at the goodness of God in my life.   Challenges and dificulties are unavoidable. They come whether you are walking in God’s will or not. Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth had to contend with barrenness. We all have to contend with one challenge or the other at every point in life.  When you are faced with difficult situations, do you give up or walk through? A very good example of a person that persevered is Abraham Lincoln. He failed some many times but he pushed past his failures and eventually became the 16th president of the United States. His name is known till date because he didn’t give up. Life is full of experiences that will make you swim or sink.    Don’t wait to learn to swim when the boat is at verge of capsizing.
